Making a Move: Oh Hey Substack

Hi friends.

I’m excited and maybe a little bittersweet, but also excited to share that I’m moving my creative writing and blog from this WordPress to Substack in the fall. This transition will let me create a cozy space dedicated to my poetry, personal essays, and random thoughts.

I had hoped that this blog would be the place for that sort of writing to land; however, I’ve found that I’ve struggled to find fellow readers and writers here. And maybe that’s a bit selfish of me as a writer to want to build an audience and community, but hey, I recognize that I am flawed.

I also want to try to slowly pull away from social media, so I can focus on my writing distraction-free.

While I’ll be posting my creative pieces on Substack, I’ll still keep my website updated with news and announcements, so you won’t miss a thing.

I’m looking forward to this new chapter and hope you’ll join me as I explore this quieter, more intimate corner of my writing journey this fall. If you’ve enjoyed my words, I’d love for you to subscribe and read along!
