As a side project, Wesley Pretty approached me to assist him in developing a website for his tattooing work. He needed a website that would showcase his work, provide information about his services and enable his clients to make bookings. To achieve his goals, I did the following:
Planning:
I initiated the project by meeting with Wesley Pretty to understand his vision for the website. During the meeting, we discussed his preferences for the website design, features and functionalities he required, and any specific content he wanted to be included. We also discussed his branding preferences and agreed on a colour scheme and typography that would reflect his brand identity.
Design:
Based on my discussions with Wesley Pretty, I created a series of wireframes that mapped out the website’s layout and structure. Once the wireframes were approved, I proceeded with designing the website’s visual elements. I ensured the design was consistent with Wesley Pretty’s brand identity and complimented his tattoos and flash designs portfolio.
Development:
I then began building the website using WordPress, a popular content management system that would allow Wesley Pretty to easily update the website himself. I integrated various features and functionalities, such as a booking system, a gallery to showcase his work, and a few web pages that would provide helpful information for his clients.
Testing:
Once the website was complete, I conducted a series of tests to ensure it functioned optimally and was compatible with different devices and browsers. I then confirmed that the website was responsive, meaning it would look great and perform perfectly on all devices, including desktop computers, tablets and smartphones.
Launch:
After Wesley Pretty approved the website, I launched it online, making it accessible to the public. I also trained him on how to manage and update the website, allowing him to make changes to his work portfolio, schedule, and other site elements.
Conclusion:
The Wesley Pretty Tattoo website is now live and functioning optimally, enabling clients to view his portfolio, learn more about his services, and make bookings. I am delighted to have worked with Wesley Pretty and wish him continued success in his career.
